Debra Solberg Gibson and Gary Thompson published an interesting article entitled “Spending Strategies – Let your personal goals determine how much money you invest in your remodel — and where it goes.” in the Summer 2010 issue of Better Homes and Gardens Kitchen + Bath Makeovers. I was one of the industry professionals interviewed for the article. A well planned and constructed remodel should always enhance one’s quality of life. Many factors, which range well beyond the “what is your budget?” question, need to be considered to maximize the value the homeowner gains from the remodel.
